Sweetgreen // Georgetown
Sweetgreen // Georgetown
If you’ve been, you know. Though Sweetgreen is not the only fresh salad bar style fast causal eatery, nothing compares and one visit will have you hooked!
Founded in 2007 by three Georgetown University graduates with the desire to offer simple, seasonal and healthy food. Their original shop was located on M Street NW in a tiny 500-square-foot hut, just steps away from the GU campus.
Sweetgreen has expanded their Georgetown presence by opening their largest location (more than 2,200 square feet!) a few blocks down the road; however, they still own their original location and have reopened it as a “hyper-local grocery” from partners the company has worked with over the years.
I love their seasonal selection but my go-to is the Shroomami while LeBraun is currently obsessed with their Rustic Harvest Bowl! I’m salivating just thinking about eating some Sweetgreen. :)
