Nowadays it’s hard to go anywhere without finding a Starbucks, but in 1971 Pikes Place was THE only place to get your fix. This original location has become a sort of pilgrimage for loyal customers from all over the world and there is often a lineup for their addicting drinks. Thankfully much of the facade has been preserved so you can enjoy your favorite “Triple, Venti, Half Sweet, Non-Fat, Caramel Macchiato” like you’re enjoying a local secret back in the 70s.
