Little Church of the West // Las Vegas
Little Church of the West // Las Vegas
Built of redwood and intended to be a replica of a typical pioneer town church, The Little Church of the West opened in 1942 and is now the oldest building on the Las Vegas Strip. The chapel was moved several times throughout its history (although it has always remained on the Strip) and has been at its current location on the east side south of Mandalay Bay.
Commonly recognized as the place Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret recited their vows in the movie Viva Las Vegas, the church has played host to countless weddings in its 75+ years including those of Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Richard Gere, Cindy Crawford, and more!
