Big Ben Clock // London
Big Ben Clock // London
The giant clock in Elizabeth Tower at the north end of the London’s Palace of Westminster is one of the world’s most recognizable structures and most popular tourist attractions. The Gothic revival structure is synonymous with the city itself, like the Eiffel Tower is to Paris. It’s five bells can be heard across the city. At the time of its completion in 1859, it was the largest and most accurate four-faced striking and chiming clock in the world.
It was one of the sights that really made me feel like I was in actually in London when I studied abroad and definitely one to check off the bucket list.
