Everyone deserves a little treat now and then. For something a tad extra special, try decorating the cookies with a simple royal icing. Your furry friends are sure to love it!
A little sweetness goes a long way so don’t get to crazy with the decorating. I like to do a simple stripe design. If I am covering the entire top of the treat I like to use white icing.
If the icing is having trouble sticking to the treats, you may want to rough up the surface a bit with a fork or poke holes with a toothpick so when the icing goes on it has something to stick to.
Any dog biscuits will do but if you want to make your own, check out this easy puppy treat recipe.
